Why is Reality Check Radio important to New Zealanders?

If you wrote an article for a news company that had been given a portion of $35 million to advertise a product, would you write anything negative about the product? -Of course not!

What if your company were paid to write the government’s version of facts in something called, “The whole truth”? You wouldn’t write another article that questioned their version of truth, would you?

This is why Reality Check Radio is important to New Zealanders. The Reality Check Radio website states: “…we believe you can discern the truth for yourself when given the full story”. Indeed, it’s only by listening to all sides of a story that we can know who is telling the truth.

I like Paul Brennan’s breakfast show because he’s well-researched and presents facts and quotes from both sides of a story. It doesn’t matter if I disagree with him because he’s giving me the facts from both sides, which lets me make an informed decision for myself.
